Rate Limits

How are rate limits calculated?

There are two categories of rate limits applied to subscribers: monthly and minutely.

Minutely rate limits are applied with a 1-minute fixed window algorithm. For example: if your plan allows for 60 requests per minute and you make 60 requests between 12:05:00 and 12:05:30, you will need to wait 30 more seconds until 12:06:00 before you can make more requests.

Similarly, monthly limits are applied with a fixed window. If your plan allows for 1M requests per month and you reach that limit within one week, you will either need to wait until the start of the next month or upgrade your plan before you can make more requests

What happens if I exceed my rate limit?
All request outside of your plan limits will fail with HTTP 429 (Too many requests)
